Agartala, 15th February 2025:   Tipra Motha leader Hangsha Joy Tripura has issued a stern warning to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stating that the party will be ousted from power if the demands of Tipra are not addressed. Hangsha Joy Tripura, a former MDC with the BJP and the leader of the opposition in the Autonomous District Council (ADC), made this declaration during a protest procession and road meeting organized by the Tipra Motha party of 49-Chawmanu assembly constituency.

The protest procession commenced from the front of the party office in Chawmanu Bazar and proceeded through various roads, culminating in a road meeting. The event witnessed the participation of MDC Hangsha Kumar Tripura, party secretary Jagadish Debbarma, Hollywood Chakma, Tarsen Tripura, Birendra Kishore Tripura and Bihari Vaishnav among others.

Addressing journalists at the road meeting, Hangsha Joy Tripura asserted, “No government can be formed in Tripura without the support of Tipra Motha.
