Agartala, 7th March 2025: A daring theft took place at Melaghar Class XII School despite the presence of a night guard. The perpetrators reportedly broke into five rooms including the principal’s office and vandalized 14 cupboards.
Among the stolen items were two hard drives from the CCTV system installed in the principal’s office. Following the incident, the Melaghar Police Station staff detained the night guard Sajal Barman for questioning. Police have initiated an investigation into the theft and are optimistic about uncovering further leads.
