Agartala, October 13, 2022: Residents of Binang Kobra Para ADC Village and Shivnagar ADC Village are under Mandai RD Block expressed their dissatisfaction over the role of the state civil administration as the 4 km-long road between these two ADC villages remain unrepaired for along time.
This road stretches from Binang Cobra Para to Lodi Bazar and it has been in poor condition for a long time. The tribal youths of the area, Joy Debbarma and Binod Debbarma, have requested many times for the construction of this road in the Mandai RD block office and in the village committees. But no office is taking initiative to repair the road. However, maintenance was done a year back but not in all places.
The youths say they are common people and no one cares about them. Currently, the pitch of the entire road has vanished and the bricks of the road started visible. Big potholes have formed on the road and muddy at some places. The villagers demand that the concerned department should take the initiative to repair the road as soon as possible.
