Agartala Oct 26: Police of Belonia Police Station detained a drug dealer with huge amount of Heroin from Amjad Nagar area on Tuesday.According to the details, Tuesday evening, the police of Belonia police station received information from its secret sources that house of one Abdul Rob in Amjad Nagar area was stocked with drugs.
A search operation was conducted under the leadership of SI Sanjeev Debbarma, SI Mridul Majumder, SI Champa Das of Belonia police station and recovered Heroin of about 10 grams. Police also arrested Abdul Rob, the owner of the house. Paritosh Das, OC of Belonia Police Station, said a case has been taken up against Abdul Rob under specific sections of NDPS Act and the accused was produced before the Belonia District and Sessions Court on Wednesday.
