Agartala, 30th April 2025: A young man, identified as Titu Majumdar, son of Ashu Majumdar, tragically lost his life following a severe road accident late Tuesday night near the Purathal Rajnagar area under Bishalgarh subdivision.
According to sources, Titu was driving an Alto car at high speed from Bishalgarh towards the Nehal Chandranagar area when he lost control of the vehicle. The car reportedly overturned multiple times before coming to a halt, leaving the young man grievously injured and unconscious.
Locals who heard the loud crash rushed to the scene and found Titu Majumdar in a half-dead and bloodied state. They immediately contacted the Bishalgarh Fire Department, whose personnel rescued him and transported him to Bishalgarh Subdivision Hospital.Due to the critical nature of his injuries, doctors at the hospital referred him to the Trauma Centre at GBP Hospital in Agartala after administering emergency oxygen support. Despite the efforts, Titu Majumdar was declared dead at GBP Hospital.The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the area, with residents mourning the untimely death of the young man.
