Agartala Nov 05: Stepping up its campaign ahead of the assembly elections in Tripura, the ruling BJP is organizing simultaneous rallies across the state under its “Vijay Sankalp” campaign.MoS Pratima Bhowmik, BJP’s Pradesh Women leader Moushumi Das, MLA Birendra Kishore Debbarma, District President Gauranga Bhowmik, Mandal President Ramakrishna Saha addressed the Vijay Sankalp rally held at Golagathi Bazar on Saturday.
Addressing the rally MoS Pratima Bhowmik said people had made up their mind to put the party back to power for another term. Pointing out that the BJP has done immense work to protect the interests of the people of all sections across the state starting from government employees to daily labourers Pratima Bhowmik said, “It is only the BJP government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that freed the people of the state from 25-yrs long misrule of the CPI-M and has taken the state towards new direction of development”.
Castigating the opposition CPI-M, Bhowmik said, “The party and its leaders were engrossed in immense corruption due to which the schemes like free gas connection, toilets and pucca houses could not be received the real beneficiaries since the year 2016”.“Earlier there used to be anti-incumbency in politics and elections, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi had added the concept of pro-incumbency in the politics of India. When there is the right leadership, a policy of development, an intention to work, then there is no anti-incumbency but pro-incumbency. And hence people are all set to bring the BJP back to power,” she added.
