Agartala, 15th May 2025:  The 13-year-old Shuvangi Datta, a student of Class 8 at Don Bosco School in Udaipur has made her mark in the world of dance securing the first-place title in the local reality show Nach Tripura Nach organized by MK Production House.

Shuvangi’s passion for dance was evident from a young age, but her journey was not without challenges. Her father, Apu Datta, a forest department employee, had dreamed of nurturing her talent. Tragically, he passed away when Shuvangi was just seven years old. Despite the hardships, her mother, Tapasi Bhattacharya Datta, remained steadfast in her support, ensuring her daughter pursued her dreams. With encouragement from her uncle Dipak Datta, Shuvangi was enrolled in a dance school, where her talent flourished.

Over the years, Shuvangi has competed in prestigious events across Udaipur, Agartala, and Kolkata, earning numerous accolades. Her family’s unwavering commitment led her to participate in Nach Tripura Nach, where she emerged victorious among 14 finalists. The grand finale took place on May 13, crowning her as the best artist.

Following her achievement, the residents of Udaipur took to the streets on Wednesday evening to celebrate. Family members, friends, and well-wishers expressed their joy, acknowledging the young dancer’s determination and talent. Her victory has not only brought pride to her family but has also inspired many in her community.

With her growing success, Shuvangi aims to continue shining on bigger platforms, carrying forward her father’s dream of making her state proud.
