Agartala, November 23, 2022: The former Chief Minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday visited Rishi Para at Pratapgarh and interacted with the inhabitants over the government benefits acquired by them.

As part of the Pradesh BJP SC Morcha’s “Basti Sampark Abhiyan”, former speaker and local MLA Rebati Mohan Das, AMC Deputy Mayor Manika Das Datta and party karyakartas accompanied Deb during his visit at Rishi Para on Wednesday morning.

While speaking to reporters here, Deb said “I came here to know about the benefits received by the people of this hamlet. After interacting with them, I have come to know that they failed to reap all benefits of the government as they are being still deprived of proper documents. Once, they complete those, all benefits can be enjoyed by the inhabitants of Rishi Para.”

“However, many amongst the inhabitants acquired the benefit of five kilograms of rice for last two years, free tape water connection and LPG cylinders were also received. More benefits are still left to be enjoyed by them”, he added.

Deb also said that the people have expressed their happiness over the role of BJP-led government in Tripura under visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Pratapgarh are willing to see BJP-government again in 2023.
