Tripura Man Missing After Leaving for Work in Haryana, Family Files Police Complaint

Agartala, 7th June 2025:  A man from Kamalpur subdivision of Tripura has gone missing after leaving for work in Haryana. The missing individual, identified as Rabilal Kharia, is a resident of Bishnupur under the jurisdiction of Kamalpur police station.

According to the family, Rabilal Kharia left for Haryana on April 24 along with Sadhan Kanda, a resident of neighboring Harerkhola village. He was accompanied by his nephew, Rana Kharia.

However, soon after leaving, all communication with Rabilal ceased. His mobile phone sent a message stating he was unwell, but there has been no further contact since then. Concerned over his prolonged silence, his nephew, Rana Kharia, who is currently in Haryana, informed Rabilal’s wife, Archana Kharia, that her husband had gone missing.Following the alarming news, the family filed a missing person’s diary at Kamalpur police station.

Rabilal Kharia is the father of two daughters, aged sixteen and thirteen. His sudden disappearance has left the family in deep distress, as they appeal to the authorities for urgent intervention and assistance in locating him.The police have acknowledged the complaint and said they are coordinating with their counterparts in Haryana to trace the missing man.
