Agartala, December 05, 2022: The Group Centre of CRPF Adarani, Agartala has been observing ‘Swachhata Pakhwada” from December 01 to 15 next.
During this Pakhwada (the fortnight), CRPF organised various programmes to promote cleanliness as a drive among people of the campus and those inhabiting in the adjacent localities of the Group centre. Public, students, force personnel and families were encouraged to adopt the mission.
This swachhata pakhwada marked the commencement with a pledge ceremony in the gracious presence of Md. Imran Mallick, DIGP Group Centre CRPF Adarani, Agartala and displayed Banners, Posters and slogans to encourage people about cleanliness.
A massive cleanliness drive was organised on Sunday last under Swachhata Pakhwada at Damdamia market area along with Panchayat personnel of Devender nagar Gram Panchayat, Hospital staff and a large number of common people.
Sujoy Guloi, Assistant Commandant briefed them, with motivational speech on waste management, cleanliness habits, plastic waste management and safe disposal of e-waste materials etc.
