After a long sabbatical, Aamir Khan resumes acting; locks Christmas 2024 for his forthcoming film

Date:

Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, who announced a vacation from acting last year, is about to make a long-awaited comeback.

The actor revealed he intended to take a break from acting to be with his family in November 2022 at a gathering in Delhi.

He most recently appeared with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, which hit theaters in August of last year.

The movie didn’t do well at the box office, though.

Aamir Khan will reportedly play the lead in his upcoming, as-yet-untitled movie in 2024.

According to rumors, Aamir Khan has set Christmas 2024 as the date for the premiere of his upcoming movie, in which he would play the lead.

This untitled movie, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, will hit theaters on December 20, 2024.

The movie is currently under pre-production and is expected to start shooting on January 20 of 2024.

There are not many details yet available regarding this project.

However, all Aamir Khan admirers will surely enjoy this news!

According to sources, Aamir Khan and Dinesh Vijan are in the advanced stages of negotiations to create the biopic on public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.

Casting calls will probably begin before the end of the year, and the movie is scheduled to start production in 2024.

“While Aamir was definitely considering leading the biopic himself, one can’t say if it’s a film starring Aamir Khan or a production with another actor stepping in to play the lead at this point in time,” the source said.
