1156 Divyangjans of 3 districts benefited with aids and assistive at Dharmanagar

Agartala, January 14, 2023: On the occasion of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Samajit Adhikarita Shivir is being organized at Ardhendu Bhattacharya Smriti Bhavan in Dharmanagar on Saturday with the Divyangjans of Unakoti District, North Tripura district and Sepahijala District.

The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, MLA Malina Debnath, Chairperson of Dharmanagar Municipal Council Pradyut De Sarkar, Social Worker Shyamal Nath, ALIMCO Manager In-Charge Mukesh Mishra along with other officials of the department were present.

Union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik was supposed to be present at the event but as she left for Delhi for a special meeting, but she congratulated all the Divyangjans on Makar Sankranti and requested everyone to bring their due materials.

This kind of event is going on today in 67 places in India at the same time under the initiative of the office of Social Justice and Empowerment.

This event is being completed by connecting three districts together in Dharmanagar and they are- 475 beneficiaries of Uttar district, 313 beneficiaries of Unakoti district and 368 beneficiaries of Sepahijala district. A total of 1156 aids and 2220 assistive were being offered.
