12 shops gutted in fire at Birganj

Agartala: January 13. At least 12 shops were completely gutted after a terrible fire broke out in Kurma Bazar under Birganj police station of Amarpur subdivision.

The fire was brought under control with the efforts of two fire engines. In the details of the incident, it is known that local people saw the flames of a sudden fire in Kurma Bazaar under Birganj police station on Friday. The fire brigade personnel were immediately informed. Firefighters immediately rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident.

 First, a fire engine rushed to the spot. After seeing the severity of the fire, another fire engine came. Later, the fire was brought under control with the efforts of two fire engines. By that time, about 12 shops were burnt to ashes. The amount of damage will be around lakhs of rupees. However, it is not known how the fire started.
