15 voters injured after bee attack in Khowai

Agartala, 26th April 2024 :  Fifteen voters were injured and rushed to the hospital after a swarm of bees attacked them during polling hours at Rishi Para in Khowai district of Tripura on Friday.

Speaking with reporters, a Fire and Emergency Service personnel said they received a call reporting that bees had suddenly attacked voters in and around the polling stations.

“Approximately 12 to 15 people were injured after the bees attacked the voters. Upon receiving the information, we rushed to the 14th polling station under Rishi Para in Khowai District. They were then brought to Khowai District Hospital,” said the personnel.
