Agartala, 17th March 2026 : In the run-up to the upcoming ADC elections, a joining ceremony was held at Booth No. 32 under the 26-Birchandra-Kalsi constituency, where 14 families comprising 42 voters left TIPRA Motha and CPI(M) to join the BJP.
MDC Sanjib Reang formally welcomed the new members by handing over party flags. The event was attended by BJP South District Vice-President Chathai Mog, Jolaibari Mandal General Secretary Birendra Reang, Srikanth Bari Chairman Padma Choudhury, along with other party leaders and workers.
Addressing the gathering, MDC Sanjib Reang expressed confidence in BJP’s victory in the upcoming ADC elections. He stated that the party’s organizational strength is steadily growing across the hills, and people’s support is increasing due to development initiatives and welfare-oriented programs.
He asserted that the BJP will form the government in the ADC based on public trust and support. Reang further mentioned that the party has intensified its outreach programs and organizational activities across different areas ahead of the elections.
