Agartala, 26th February 2025:   The 73rd B N Mallick Memorial Police Football Championship witnessed intense action today, with 12 out of 14 scheduled matches completed by evening.

Teams showcased their skills and resilience across multiple venues, delivering some thrilling encounters.At Umakanta Stadium, Tamil Nadu displayed an overwhelming performance against Maharashtra, securing a massive 13-0 victory. CRPF followed suit with an even more dominant display, defeating Jharkhand 17-0. Assam Rifles also registered a commanding 7-0 win against Manipur, highlighting their supremacy in the women’s category.

In the men’s category, Punjab edged past Meghalaya with a narrow 1-0 victory at Umakanta Stadium. At the Chandrapur Stadium in Udaipur, BSF and Goa battled to a 1-1 draw, while Nagaland outclassed Karnataka 5-0.At Jampuijla, Rajasthan triumphed over Himachal Pradesh with a convincing 5-0 win, and ITBP dominated Puducherry with a 6-0 scoreline.

SN Colony Stadium in Jirania hosted three matches. SSB secured a 2-0 win against Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala trounced Gujarat 5-0, and CRPF emerged victorious against Sikkim with a 3-0 margin.At Tulabagan Stadium in Mohanpur, Manipur overpowered Bihar with a massive 13-1 win, while Assam Rifles defeated Maharashtra 3-0.As the championship progresses, teams are pushing their limits to advance further, promising more thrilling football action in the coming days.
