77th Independence Day: Sub-division-based unity run galvanizes community spirit at Dharmanagar

Agartala, August 14, 2023: Marking the 77th Independence Day with fervour and unity, a sub-division-based solidarity run kicked off at 6:30 am today from the Ardhendu Smriti Bhavan in Dharmanagar premises. The event saw participants of all ages join hands in a symbolic display of community strength, traversing various city locales before concluding at the Ardhendu Smriti Bhavan premises.

Under the watchful eye of District Superintendent of Police, Bhanupada Chakraborty IPS, the event resonated with patriotic zeal. Amit Kumar Yadav, Assistant Director of the Youth and Sports Department in North Tripura, also graced the occasion.

In a commendable display of communal support, innovative social organizations provided vital water services throughout the solidarity run. Water distribution was administered on a voluntary basis by these organizations, with Adarsh Sangh and the 75th Border Village Rally joining the noble endeavour.

This event not only showcased the spirit of togetherness but also highlighted the proactive involvement of community members in promoting a sense of shared responsibility.
