Agartala, 21st July 2026; “Establishment in society comes only when there is harmony between what you say and what you do.” With this message, newly appointed BJP Tripura State President Abhishek Debroy addressed party workers and supporters during an organizational meeting in Sepahijala South district on Wednesday.
This marked his first district-level organizational tour since assuming office as state president. Enthusiasm was evident among party workers, who welcomed him with a grand bike rally from Jumer Dhepa in Nalchar constituency to Melaghar Jagannath Bari premises. After offering prayers at Gundicha temple, Debroy proceeded to Sonamura Nagar Panchayat area, where he paid floral tributes to the statues of Kazi Nazrul Islam, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and Rabindranath Tagore before attending the organizational meeting at the Town Hall.
In his keynote address, Debroy emphasized BJP’s core principles and urged workers to carry the party’s guidelines to the grassroots level.
The meeting was also attended by State Committee Vice-President Tapas Majumder, Sepahijala South District President Prasenjit Ghosh, MLAs Tafajjal Hossain and Bindu Debnath, Zilla Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Dutta, along with other senior leaders. Workers from Nalchar, Boxanagar, Dhanpur, and Sonamura mandals actively participated in the session.
