ADC tables 23 bills on the first day of the session

Agartala: December 26. On the first day of the Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council session today, 23 bills were tabled, including 4 old bills and 19 new bills.

Chief executive member Purna Chandra Jamatia introduced 22 bills for discussion in the session and one bill was introduced in the session by Deputy Chief Executive Member Animesh Debbarma.

After the discussion, the bills can be accepted in the session on December 28.

On behalf of the ruling party, Executive Member of Health Department Kamal Kallai, Member Hangsakumar Tripura, Ananta Debbarma and Ganesh Debbarma participated in the discussion on the bills today.

On the other side Leader of Opposition Bimal Kanti Chakma, members Sanjib Reang, Sanjay Das and Bidyut Debbarma participated in the discussion.

During the session four old bills introduced today which are The TTAADC Police Service Rules-2021, TTAADC Village (Conduct of Election) (4th Amendment) Rules-2022, Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Village Committee (Administration) (Second Amendment) Rules-2022 And Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Village Committee (Maintenance of Register of Ordinary Residents) Rules- 2022 to discuss these bills for 10 days.

Bills can be enacted after they are passed in the session after the discussion is over. On the other hand, the new bills are Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Forest (Management and Control) Act-2022 (Bill), Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (Administration of Justice) Rules- 2022 (Bill), Tripura Tibal Areas Autonomous District Council Trade (License and Control) (First Amendment) Rules – 2022 (Abil), Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (Administration) First Amendment) Rules – 2022 (Abil), Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Constitution, Election of Conduct and Business) (21st Amendment) Rules-2022 (Abil).

Besides, The Charai Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Bill), The Koloi Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Bill), the Hrangkhawl Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Bill), The Noatia Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 ( Abil), The Uchoi Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Abil), The Rupini Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Abil), The Garo Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Abil), The Tripuri/Debbarma/Debbarman) Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (ABIL), The Chakma Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (ABIL), The Murasing Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (ABIL), The Molsom Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (ABIL), The Reang (F) Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Bill) and The Lusai Customary ‘Law’ Act-2022 (Bill).
