Agartala, August 05: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Saturday formally inaugurated the Aadhaar Service Centre at Ward No. 8 Office here. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Manika Das Datta, Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Corporator Shampa Sen Sarkar, Corporator Hiralal Debnath, Corporator Pradip Chanda, and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mayor Majumder shared that the newly established Aadhaar Service Centre is the second of its kind in Agartala city. The centre will facilitate the residents of the area to apply for new Aadhaar cards and make necessary updates to their existing cards. The Mayor expressed hope that the functioning of this Aadhaar Service Centre would bring much-needed convenience to the people of the locality.
With the centre becoming operational, residents will have access to essential Aadhaar-related services closer to their homes. The inauguration ceremony was met with enthusiasm and is expected to have a positive impact on the ease of obtaining Aadhaar-related services in the city.
