ARKANEER signs memorandum of understanding with RTM

Agartala, 17th October 2025:   A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT) “ARKANEER” and Rabindranath Thakur Mahavidyalaya (RTM) to foster mutual benefit and frequent interactions between these two organizations. Now these organizations will jointly organize Seminar/ Workshop/ EAC/ EDP for the benefits of the students.

Both the organization have also agreed to promote the value of Academic and practical knowledge in multiple field, so that the students can get more learning and exposure.

The MoU further includes the Internship Courses (IC) designed to provide hands-on experience and practical training as per National Education Policy (NEP) – 2020. These exposure to practical environment related to students’ specific discipline is an integral part of the academic curriculum which will enhance their professional skills.

The MoU was signed between Dr. Tamojoy Brahma, Principal of RTM and Sri Abhijit Gon Choudhury, Hony. Secretary of NBIRT,  in presence of Lipika Debbarma, Associate  Professor & Nakat Jyoti Chakma, Associate Professor & DDO, RTM and Mohit Lal Acharjee, Hony. Treasurer of NBIRT as the witnesses from the both organizations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Brahma, Principal, RTM expressed his views on the significance of Institutional collaboration for the overall development of students. On the other hand, Hony Secretary of NBIRT Abhijit Gon Choudhury shared his views on skill based education through such initiatives and emphasized the active involvement of NBIRT in entrepreneurial activities. 

The vote of thanks was moved by Anup Dey, Project Officer, NBIRT. Dey also stated that, an Internship Course will be conducted on and from 27th Oct. to 11 th Nov. at Arkaneer, Sekerkote, where 15 students of RTM will attend and gain the practical knowledge under NBIRT’s Supervision. This is the first activities after signing the MoU.
