Assam Rifles holds ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ under ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ in Tripura, Assam and Manipur

Agartala, 25th September 2025:   In alignment with the nationwide Swachhata Seva campaign for the vision of a cleaner and greener India, Assam Rifles organized Shramdhaan activities across multiple locations in the locations of Tripura, Assam and Manipur today under the theme of ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’.

The cleanliness drives were conducted at Sripur Bazar, Fatikroy, Gokul Nagar, Agartala in Tripura; Boro Bekra, New Kaiphundai, Kaimai, Nungba in Manipur and Lokra and Haflong in Assam. Over 370 personnels including all ranks and community members actively participated in the event. The drive focused on cleaning public spaces, waste removal, promoting hygiene and spreading awareness on sanitation.

The initiative highlighted Assam Rifles’ enduring commitment towards the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reinforcing civic responsibility and environmental consciousness while hand-in-hand with local communities. The event concluded with a collective pledge to carry forward the spirit of cleanliness beyond the campaign, contributing to a healthier and sustainable future.
