Attendance of 10, 323 teachers in schools was significant claims terminated teachers

Agartala: August 13. The terminated 10, 323 teachers today claimed that the presence of the sacked teachers in schools across the state was significant.As per prescheduled program the teacher has re-joined their services claiming that they didn’t lose their job which they get to know through an RTI filed before the Supreme Court.

“The presence of these sacked teachers in schools across the state was significant. Most of the teachers showed up at school. Students also express their happiness to have them”, said a press release of the teachers.It further said that school principals have allowed them to sign the attendance register in some cases.

“Many school principals receive their joining papers and immediately forward them to higher authorities. However, in some cases the school principals asked them to submit the papers even if they did not receive them, which they assured to send to the higher authorities. However, in some cases, school principals have been obstructed by the miscreants of the locality who have defamed the government. Even in one case, a teacher was physically assaulted. In some schools dismissed teachers have also been mistreated by school principals. Legal action has been taken against the principal at that time”, the press statement said.

They further said that yesterday, the role of District Education Officers in the state was highly reprehensible. “On their behalf, the principals of the schools were sent an unofficial instruction without any seal, that they should not give any paper receipt or acknowledgment to these dismissed teachers. The teachers have strongly condemned the incident, and are also demanding that immediately withdraw this unofficial instruction in writing”, it reads.he 10, 323 teachers thanked to the school principals who kept their spines straight and allowed teachers to sign the attendance register.
