Agartala: July 20. Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma made a significant visit today to the 41 Mile area in Atharmura, where he met with the families who had generously donated their land for the construction of the National Highways.

Reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise to transform Tripura into a prosperous region, Minister Debbarma expressed his satisfaction with the rapid development taking place in the state. During his visit to the 41 Mile area in Atharmura, the minister emphasized the pivotal role played by the families residing there, who had selflessly contributed their land towards the construction of NH8. He acknowledged their invaluable assistance in the speedy completion of NH8, which has significantly reduced travel time from Dharmanagar to Agartala. Previously, the journey used to take around 12 to 13 hours, but now it can be completed in just four hours, all thanks to the construction of this vital road.

Minister Debbarma expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha for their dedication and commitment to the development of Tripura. He highlighted that, ahead of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the state BJP has taken the initiative to showcase the achievements of the nine-year tenure of the Narendra Modi-led government to the people. The residents of the 41 Mile area warmly welcomed the minister’s visit, considering it as an integral part of the state BJP’s efforts to highlight the remarkable progress achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
