Agartala, 12th March 2026: Panic gripped the Bhuiyarmatha area of Kamalasagar after a speeding motorcycle lost control and slid under a passenger bus on Thursday. Thanks to quick thinking, the rider leapt off the bike just in time, escaping with his life.
According to local sources, the motorcycle was moving at high speed when it suddenly veered out of control and went under the bus ahead. Realizing the imminent danger, the rider jumped clear, narrowly avoiding a fatal accident. Witnesses rushed to the scene and alerted the fire service. The damaged bike was later removed from the middle of the road.
Traffic in the area was briefly disrupted following the incident. Residents expressed relief that the rider survived, noting that the situation could have been far worse. The incident has sparked concern among locals, highlighting the risks of speeding on busy roads.
