Agartala, 17th June 2024: The BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday appointed Tripura’s former Chief Minister and incumbent MP Biplab Kumar Deb as the state election co-in-charge for the upcoming assembly election in Haryana.
Deb will be accompanying union minister Dharmendra Pradhan who is also being appointed as state election in-charge for the upcoming assembly election in Haryana.
BJP’s national general secretary Arun Singh informed this in an organizational appointment circular issued on Monday.
Apart from Haryana, assembly elections will also be held in Maharastra, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnaw have been appointed as election in-charge and co-in-charge, respectively for Maharashtra; Union minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Assam’s Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as election in-charge and co-in-charge, respectively for Jharkhand; and union minister Kishan Reddy as state election in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir.
