Agartala, 17th June 2024:   The local residents of Devipur in Kailashahar have raised serious concerns over the deplorable condition of the roads urging immediate reform. Despite repeated appeals to the Gram Panchayat both in writing and verbally, no action has been taken, lamented the residents.

“The roads turn into mud with even the slightest rainfall,” stated the residents, highlighting the hazardous conditions that have led to daily accidents and significant difficulty for children attending school.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha on Monday, several residents were unable to perform their prayers due to the impassable roads preventing them from leaving their homes.

Expressing their frustration, the locals have called upon the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Gaurnagar RD to intervene and expedite the resolution of this pressing issue. They emphasized the urgent need for road renovation to ensure the safety and mobility of the community.

The residents await action from the authorities, hoping for swift measures to alleviate their longstanding grievances regarding the deteriorating road conditions.
