Biplab Kumar Deb hails BJP’s historic victory in West Bengal assembly elections

Date:

Agartala, 4th May 2026:  Former Tripura Chief Minister and incumbent Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb, who also served as co-in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party during the West Bengal Assembly elections, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of the state and party workers on the BJP’s landmark victory.

Deb described the triumph as a reflection of the “visionary leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the strategic acumen of Honorable Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and the strong organizational guidance of BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin.”

He emphasized that the people of West Bengal had “rejected the politics of fear, appeasement, and misgovernance,” instead choosing development, good governance, and stability.

“This public mandate serves as proof that the people have unequivocally expressed their support for a strong, transparent, and development-oriented government—one that will lead the state to new heights of prosperity,” Deb said.

Political observers note that Deb’s remarks underscore the BJP’s growing confidence in its organizational strength across eastern India, with West Bengal’s results seen as a turning point in the party’s expansion strategy.
