Agartala, 5th March 2024:   Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb expressed deep gratitude and affection for the people of Tripura during a press conference at the state BJP office.

Reflecting on his journey since arriving in the state in 2015, he acknowledged that he had no identity then, but today the world recognizes him because of the remarkable people of Tripura. He pledged to remember and cherish this connection with the state until his last breath.

Deb, who is a candidate for the West Lok Sabha Assmebly, emphasized the transformative power of the BJP government, established in 2018 through the people’s votes, transcending political opposition from parties like the Communists and the Congress. He noted that statistics reveal significant support from Communist leadership and cadre supporters for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the elections.

He highlighted the role of journalists and support from some Communist leaders and activists in the establishment of the BJP government in Tripura.

Deb commended the present Chief Minister and the entire team for their dedicated work. He shared optimism about the upcoming elections, stating that the country and the world are anticipating the formation of a third consecutive Modi-led government. Urging the people of Tripura to vote for BJP to strengthen Narendra Modi’s leadership, he emphasized that he doesn’t engage in conspiracies and appealed to the state’s residents to vote for the revolution they believe in.
