Agartala, 5th March 2024:  As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, the royal scion and founder of Tipra Motha, convened a crucial meeting with the party’s senior leadership at Manikya Enclave in Agartala today.

Before the meeting, he however did not disclose any details to reporters but mentioned that, just as it took 500 years for the government to establish the Ram Mandir, achieving their goals would also take time, but he affirmed his commitment.

Following the meeting, sources from the party informed  that discussions were held regarding the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, and opinions were sought from the senior leadership of the party to contest in the elections.

“The meeting primarily delved into discussions concerning the Central government, Lok Sabha, and Royal Scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma provided a comprehensive briefing on the entire pact. Moreover, considerations were given to the forthcoming course of action, including the Lok Sabha elections. The house members freely expressed their opinions on contesting in the polls, and discussions encompassed the formulation of the candidate list,” shared a party leader closely associated with Debbarma.

While the final outcome of the meeting remains pending, there appears to be substantial progress, as the issue of contesting in the Lok Sabha elections wouldn’t have been addressed by Tipra Motha if not for significant developments.

“Clarifications were made on certain misconceptions among the leaders, contributing to constructive discussions and resolutions,” the leader added.
