Agartala, July 05, 2023: Dharmanagar Municipal Council arranged clean and safe drinking water for Dharmanagar residents at the office premises of DM, Central Road in Dharmanagar at a cost of Rs 5.50 lakh.
Dharmanagar MLA and Assembly’s Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Pradyut Dey Sarkar, Vice-Chairperson Manju Nath, renowned philanthropist Shyamal Nath and engineers of the MC were present on this occasion.
While speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Speaker BB Sen said that in the last 25 years, some cadres of the CPIM still remain who rise up to destroy the Bharatiya Janata Party when it does some good work.
Citing an instance, he said that these CPIM-sponsored goons carried out various anti-social works and vandalizing the open gym set up in the ground of Bir Bikram Institution, Dharmanagar. Hence, open gyms are currently surrounded by fences.
He compared the cadre force of the CPIM to the offspring of blood seeds. He mentioned that this cutting force of CPIM loves to destroy the society instead of any development. Today, the purified drinking water ATM is opened, they will also drink the water and claim that the water is not good.
DMC chairperson Pradyut Dey Sarkar said that the cost of the ATM for pure drinking water is Rs 5.50 lakh.
