BJP Accepts Mandate with Humility After Tripura ADC Poll Results: CM Manik Saha

Agartala, 17th April 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has accepted the mandate of the people with humility following the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections, where the party secured four seats. He added that the outcome will be taken as a learning experience and an opportunity to return stronger in the future.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Saha expressed heartfelt gratitude to BJP karyakartas in the district council areas for their dedication, hard work, and courage throughout the campaign. He congratulated all the winning candidates and also extended warm wishes to the Tipra Motha Party for their electoral success.

While acknowledging the results, he emphasized that the BJP views the people’s decision with respect and remains committed to drawing lessons from it. He praised party workers for reaching out to every household with the party’s message, describing their efforts as commendable and inspiring.

Reaffirming the party’s core focus, Dr. Saha stated that their commitment to development, unity, and public service remains steadfast. He further added that the party will continue its journey with renewed strength, determination, and a deeper resolve to serve the people of Tripura.
