Agartala Sept 24: To celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birth anniversary, Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party has taken up several programs for long fifteen days.Saturday, under the initiative of BJP Doctors Cell, a mega health camp was organized at Bankumari area of the capital city.
Also, local club namely Netaji Sangh came forward in organizing a blood donation camp along with the health camp.Local MLA Rebati Mohan Das inaugurated the blood donation and health camp in presence of State Convener of BJP Doctors Cell, Sushanta Roy and many others.
Talking to the reporters, MLA Rebati Mohan Das said, the camp is a part of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday celebration. Besides, he thanked the organizers, doctors and health care staff for taking part in the program.Dr Sushanta Roy said, “The party has identified ten districts across the state and is organizing mega health camp in all those areas where doctors of many genres including ophthalmologist, Ayurveda, Medicine, Homeopathy and many more are actively participating to provide free medical services to the people”.Roy urged the people from poorer sections of the society to come forward and avail free medical services and medicines.
