Agartala, September 24, 2022: Tripura University will celebrate the 106th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on September 26 next at 11 AM at the Maharja Bir Bikram Satabarshiki Auditorium. To commemorate this auspicious occasion, the university, in association with ‘Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’, has planned to host a special lecture followed by ‘Swadeshi-Yatra (rally)’.
To commemorate the occasion and to create an awareness of Swadeshi Products among youths a ‘Swadeshi Yatra (rally)’ will also be organized by ‘Swadeshi Jagran Manch’ on September 25 next during 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM from Colonel Chowmuhani to Jagannath Badi via Bidurkarta Chowmuhani in Agartala to promote the philosophy of Pandit DD Upadhyay and government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
It is also proposed to commemorate a week long swadeshi saptah started from September 25 to October 02 next to organize various activities for the youth of the state. Swadeshi Jagran Manch has also started an online volunteer membership drive through: www.mysba.co.in to make more and more members under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and to guide and provide a proper training to the youths to start their own startup. Through www.mysba.co.in any one can join the group.
Pandit DD Upadhyay has always lived with the cardinal principles of Swadeshi and Sarvodaya, today’s youth must get acquainted with the thoughts and philosophies of the great scholar whose seminal idea of Integral Humanism has been enthralling the common mortals over the years.
Meanwhile, Tripura University in collaboration with Bamboo & Cane Development Institute (BCDI) organized one-day skill development programme for future entrepreneurs on September 24 next. More than hundred students of the university were participated and benefited from the programme. This training is mainly based for Bamboo & Cane Based Products Training for the youths from which they will be enthusiastic to start their own startup.
