BJP gains momentum as 157 voters switch allegiance ahead of Lok Sabha elections

Agartala, 13th April 2024:   In a significant development leading up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha orchestrated a fervent rally at the state BJP headquarters on Saturday. Amidst this gathering, a noteworthy 157 voters from 23 families bid adieu to their former political affiliations and embraced membership in the BJP.

The meeting witnessed the presence of key figures including General Secretary of Pradesh Youth Morcha, Rana Ghosh, alongside other notable leaders. During the event, Rana Ghosh and fellow leaders formally welcomed the new members into the BJP fold, symbolically passing on the BJP party flag as a token of acceptance.

Highlighting the growing momentum of the BJP among the youth demographic, Rana Ghosh remarked that the influx of new members signifies a broader trend of support for the party across the state. Notably, a significant proportion of the newly joined members hail from minority communities, underscoring the BJP’s expanding appeal among diverse demographics.
