Agartala: July 26. As the election for village council and assembly election is approaching, the ruling BJP today held an organization meeting to strengthen the party’s activity.
Sources said that the upcoming assembly election is going to be a multi-face fight. If the internal problem couldn’t be control then the party may face severe problem. Bharatiya Janata Party’s All India President JP Nadda sent All India General Secretary BL Santosh to Tripura from Delhi on Tuesday. He will visit the state and hold meetings with leaders from the grassroots level to the top level.
The organizational meeting started today at BJP state head office. Apart from the party’s all-India general secretary organization, state president and chief minister Dr. Manik Saha, Tripura BJP national observer Vinod Sonkar, former chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb and other office bearers were also present in that meeting.
According to sources, there was a special discussion on the selection of the new president in today’s meeting. A final announcement is likely to be made after the meeting tomorrow. However, the source claims that the announcement will be made from Delhi.
According to BJP sources, there has been a detailed analysis of the current situation of the party in Tripura. Different fronts have defined their respective fields. The meeting also discussed the issues that will prevail in determining the strategy for the 2023 assembly elections.
The source also informed that there will be a separate meeting with the cabinet members tomorrow.
In that meeting, the party’s All India General Secretary Organization BL Santosh will know the full record of success in government work. However, there is no possibility of a meeting with partner party IPFT at the moment. However, the strategy of the alliance in the upcoming assembly elections was discussed today, the sources claimed.
