Agartala, 7th February 2024:   The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Gram Chalo Abhiyan begins on Wednesday, BJP state President Rajib Bhattacharya took the initiative by interacting with members of self-help groups in booth no. 3.

In a bid to bolster grassroots engagement, Bhattacharya listened attentively to the narratives shared by mothers and sisters involved in self-reliance initiatives within the self-help coordination framework.

Furthermore, in alignment with the objectives of the Gram Chalo Abhiyan, he held discussions with officials at booth No. 3, situated within the 15-Kamalasagar mandal.

This launch coincides with the onset of Padma Shibir’s mass mobilization efforts across the state, with a particular emphasis on the Gram Chalo Abhiyan. Notably, the top echelons of the ruling party have joined forces, diving headfirst into the field.

The comprehensive campaign encompasses a spectrum of activities, including booth committee meetings, organizational tasks, engagements with educators and students in youth-centric schools, as well as interactions with talented individuals, athletes, student leaders, and members of women’s self-help groups.

Additionally, meetings with local government employees such as Anganwadi and ASHA workers, as well as forging business relations with farmers and traders, form integral components of this initiative.

A multifaceted approach is underway, targeting a total of eight key areas, underscoring the BJP’s commitment to grassroots outreach and community engagement.
