Agartala, 12th December 2023: In a meticulously planned move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party’s leadership, including former MLA Birendra Kishore Debbarma, BJP District President Gaurang Bhowmik, and others, convened at Golaghati’s Khumuchak Kala Kendra to discuss and implement a 5-day expansion plan.
The first phase of the strategy involves a 5-day migration program across 60 mandals, starting from December 22. The program aims to highlight the dedicated efforts of booth functionaries who played a pivotal role in securing the BJP’s victory in the 2018 assembly elections. The focus will be on promoting various Central and State Government schemes, ensuring that every citizen is aware of and benefits from these initiatives.
The Golaghati Mandal meeting, held at Dayarampara’s Khumuchak Kala Kendra, witnessed the presence of key figures such as Sipahijala South Zone General Secretary Anil Debbarma. Mandal President Ramakrishna Saha and other leaders discussed the party’s plans to bring more families under government schemes, especially those who have not participated in the Bharat Sankalp Yatra or availed government facilities.
Simultaneously, Charilam Mandal conducted its meeting at the Herma Community Hall, attended by former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma. Mandal President Rajkumar Debnath, Sepahijala District North General Secretary Rajesh Debbarma, and other leaders emphasized the significant contribution of party workers in establishing the BJP government through tireless dedication over eighteen years.
Former Deputy Chief Minister acknowledged the hard work of party officials and urged the re-employment of those who, for various reasons, are currently not actively involved. He emphasized that both old and new functionaries would play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s position and securing two Lok Sabha seats for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming elections. The BJP leaders reiterated that these executives are valuable assets for the party’s success in the polls.
