Agartala: September 23. Ahead of the village council elections of TTAADC the ruling BJP has received a major blow as one more indigenous MLA of the ruling party Burba Mohan Tripura tendered his resignation today.
The lawmaker has tendered his resignation before the Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty on the first day of Assembly session. In the registration letter, the MLA has said, I hereby tender my resignation to the membership of 43 (ST) Karbook Constituency Assembly and request you to kindly accept my resignation’.
The lawmaker however didn’t mention any specific reason for his resignation. Source said that Burba Mohan Tripura is ready to join TIPRA Motha this evening.
