Agartala, 12th November 2025 :   The 38-Jolaibari mandal unit of the BJP organized a protest march this afternoon at Jolaibari Bazaar rallying against what it described as a coordinated campaign by the Congress and CPIM to malign the state’s welfare-oriented government.

The demonstration, which drew a significant crowd, aimed to mobilize public support ahead of the upcoming Assembly and ADC elections. BJP leaders accused the opposition of attempting to destabilize the government through backdoor tactics and misinformation.

Leading the protest was Sushanta Deb, State President of the BJP Yuva Morcha and sitting MLA of Bishalgarh. He was joined by Sujit Dutta, Mandal President of Jolaibari BJP; Tamal Baidya, a senior leader of the state BJP Yuva Morcha; Keshab Chowdhury, Mandal President of the Jolaibari BJP Yuva Morcha; Tapas Datta, Chairman of the Jolaibari Block Panchayat Samiti; and youth leader Sudip Gope, among others.

Following the march, participants convened for a public meeting at the market square, where speakers condemned the alleged opposition conspiracy and urged citizens to unite in defense of the government’s development agenda. The leaders called for collective action to thwart opposition efforts and ensure continued progress under the current administration.
