Agartala, 17th November 2023: A body of a 40 year old BSF jawan found at Lankamura bordering area in Agartala this morning.
Police sources said that the deceased jawan identified as Ishan Chandra Dora 40 a jawan of , 42 battalion BSF, Lankamura, BOP, found dead near Lankamura Iron bridge in Agartala, on duty.
It is learnt that he fell down from a culvert causing his casualty.
“We have also recovered his rifle and there are no marks of bullet injuries on his body. So as preliminary investigation we are suspecting he died after he fell down from a culvert”, said police.
