Agartala, 27th June 2026: Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BTVM), Narsingarh, organized a grand felicitation programme on Saturday to honour the Board and School Toppers of 2026 for their outstanding academic achievements. The event celebrated the dedication, hard work, and success of the meritorious students.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, floral tribute, and a prayer song, followed by the welcome address delivered by Principal Swapna Shome.
The occasion was graced by Kishor Barman, Minister of Higher Education, Panchayat and General Administration (Political), as the Chief Guest. Prof. (Dr.) Y. P. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of National Law University Tripura, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS and Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, presided over the programme.
Among the distinguished guests were Tapan Lodh, Vice-Chairman; Ashis Sen, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra; and Dr. Rajat Dey, Principal of Bhavan’s Tripura College of Teacher Education, along with other eminent personalities.
The Board and School Toppers were felicitated for their exceptional performance. The prestigious Prof. Kashinath Das Memorial Award, Bhavan’s Merit Scholarship, and Haralal Merit Scholarship were also presented to deserving students in recognition of their academic excellence.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries congratulated the achievers and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of knowledge and excellence. During his visit, Chief Guest Kishor Barman inspected Tripura’s first Composite Skill Lab at the institution and appreciated the school’s innovative approach towards skill-based learning and holistic education.
In his presidential address, Debashis Chakraborty praised the students for their remarkable accomplishments and highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, and continuous effort in achieving success.
A captivating rhythmic performance by the students added vibrancy to the programme. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, marking a memorable occasion dedicated to academic achievement and inspiration for future generations.
