Agartala, 29th November 2024: Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir (BTVM) is organizing the XV All India Conference for Bhavan’s Principals of Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools fostering collaboration and excellence. Altogether, 84 Principals and other dignitaries will be attending the conference from 2nd December 2024 to 5th December 2024.
Speaking to media personnel at Agartala Press Club on Friday evening, BTVM Principal Swapna Shome said that the theme of the 15th All India Principals Conference (2024-25) is “Leaders Leading with Vision”. Every year Bhavan’s Principals Conference is held in different Bhavan’s Schools all over India. This year BTVM feels extremely fortunate to host this event.
“Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, carrier of timeless aesthetic values was founded by Kulapati Dr. Kanhaiyalal Manik Lal Munshi on the preservation and propagation of Bharatiya Sanskriti. Dedicated to promoting India’s rich heritage and tradition BTVM was set upon the soil of Tripura on 2nd October 1996 serving as a bridge between the Ancient and the Modern, integrating Traditional Wisdom and Contemporary Education. These 29 glorious years of BTVM has continued the Legacy of constant hard work, dedication and goodwill of our late founder Director Dr. K.V. Gopalkrishnan and has earned considerable appreciation for providing sense of discipline, high moral, leading to the development of integrated personalities.”
“On the first day of the conference His Excellency Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Governor of Tripura has given his consent to be the inaugurator and chief guest. The guest of honour for the first day will be Prof. Dr. Y.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Tripura. Other guests include Jagdish Lakhani, Joint Executive Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai; Rakesh Saxena, Director, Bhavan’s Shikshan Bharati, Mumbai; Pauly Menacherry, Joint Director Bhavan’s Shikshan Bharati, Mumbai. The inaugural program will be presided over by Debashis Chakraborty (Retd. IFS) Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra”, Shome told reporters.
The BTVM Principal also said that the state’s Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury is also kind enough to extend his support for sightseeing of different heritage sites of state including Ujjayanta Palace, Neermahal, and Mata Tripureswari Temple.
Shome was accompanied by Headmistress Pompi Majumdar, Librarian Arghya Bhowmik and Teacher Babul Debnath in the press conference.
