Campus recruitment drive held at Bir Bikram Memorial College

Agartala, 11th  May 2026: The Placement Cell of Bir Bikram Memorial College successfully organised a campus recruitment drive on May 07, 2026 at the college campus, providing employment opportunities to aspiring students and job seekers. The recruitment process was conducted by Vision Plus Security Control Ltd⁠ for the post of Customer Care Executive. Around 90 candidates participated enthusiastically in the interview process conducted by the recruiting team. The shortlisted candidates will shortly be invited for further training and subsequent placement procedures. Ms. Smita Deb represented the recruiting company and interacted with the candidates during the selection process. Addressing the participants at the beginning of the programme, Dr. Basudeb Bhattacharya, Coordinator of the Placement Cell, highlighted the importance of campus recruitment initiatives in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional employment opportunities.

Dr. Sujit Das, Head of the Department of Commerce, was also present on the occasion and delivered an overview of the recruitment process, encouraging the candidates to develop professional skills and confidence to meet industry expectations.

The entire programme was organised under the guidance, advice and continuous support of the Principal, Dr. Mihir Paul, whose encouragement has significantly strengthened the placement and career-oriented activities of the institution.

The recruitment drive witnessed active participation from students and job aspirants and reflected the college commitment towards enhancing employability and career development among the youth.
