Central Observer visits strong room, counting hall, expresses satisfaction

Agartala, 29th March 2024 :  In a significant development, Central Observer Vivek L Vimanwar, lauded the robust infrastructure and security arrangements at Umakanta Academy, designated as the strong room and counting center for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Dr. Vishal Kumar, the Returning Officer and District Magistrate of West District, joined the Central Observer during the inspection.

Expressing complete satisfaction with the facilities, Vimanwar highlighted the meticulous security measures implemented to ensure fair and peaceful elections. The inspection encompassed scrutinizing various aspects and details of the infrastructure, with a primary focus on the security of the strong room and counting center.

Following the comprehensive examination, Vimanwar affirmed the adequacy of the security system, citing the installation of necessary CCTV cameras and deployment of sufficient security personnel. He expressed contentment with the overall arrangement, emphasizing its capability to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
