Centre works on various schemes for self-reliant India, says MoS Kishan Pal Gurjar

Agartala/Bishalgarh: Jan 10. Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries Kishan Pal Gurjar said that the central government has been working on various schemes for the past 8 years to build a better and self-reliant India.

Speaking to media persons here, the MoS Gurjar said that the central government has given special importance to the development of North Eastern region. For this reason the Act East policy has been adopted. Various plans have been taken for the overall development of the people of this region. For this, the financial allocation in the budget has been increased. The development of the communication system in this region has seen a radical change in the last 8 years. The development of the region has been accelerated by the development of communication system, he added.

Gurjar also said that efforts are being made to set up industries using the natural resources of Tripura. Central government will do everything for this. He has also visited various developmental projects of Kanthalia Block, three residences of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin at Monarchak Gram Panchayat. Moreover, he inspected the construction works of Dhanpur Drinking Water Purification Project, Shantinagar Class XII School Hostel, Baranarayan Class XII School Building, Bagan Bari English Medium School Building in Rurban Project. During the visit, the Union Minister of State also interacted with various beneficiaries.
