Agartala, 2nd April 2024: In a tragic incident in Ward No. 4 under Sonamura Rangamatia Gram Panchayat, a one-and-a-half-year-old child sustained severe injuries after hot milk spilled on his chest. The unfortunate event unfolded when Bipasha Begum, the mother from Sonamura Rangamatia, was heating milk in a glass for her son, Dishan Hossain.
As recounted in the details of the incident, Bipasha momentarily stepped away for other chores, leaving the hot milk on the table for young Dishan. In an unforeseen turn, the child attempted to pick up the glass of hot milk, but inadvertently dropped it, causing the scalding liquid to spill onto his chest.
Upon hearing the distressing cry of her child, Bipasha rushed to the scene only to discover the severity of the situation – her child writhing in pain from the burns inflicted by the spilled milk. Without delay, they hurried Dishan to Melaghar Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Currently, the child is undergoing treatment at Melaghar Hospital, where medical professionals are working tirelessly to alleviate his suffering. However, it is evident that this incident transpired due to an unfortunate lapse in vigilance on the part of the mother, Bipasha Begum.
