Agartala Dec 06: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed Bhairav Tholi Temple and Community Hall in Manu Valley Gram Panchayat area of Chandipur assembly constituency in Kailashahar.
Notably, this is Dr Manik Saha’s first visit to Chandipur assembly constituency after being appointed as Tripura Chief Minister. Apart from Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy, Zilla Parishad Chairman Amlendu Das, Unakoti District Commissioner Dr. Vishal Kumar, District Superintendent of Police Kanta Jahangir and others were present in the inauguration ceremony.
The long-standing demand of the people of the area was to build a community hall and temple in the area.
Assuming power, the BJP government of the state took initiative to fulfil the demand of the people. The construction work was completed by the BADP project, which was officially inaugurated by the chief minister on Tuesday.After cutting the ribbon and inaugurating the community hall and the temple, the chief minister himself offered puja and anjali at the temple.
A lot of enthusiasm was observed among the locals surrounding the program of the Chief Minister. Addressing the crowd on the ocassion the Chief Minister said, “There was a minister in the Chandipur assembly constituency during the previous government, but there was no real development in the area”. “The state has now established a development-oriented government, the citizens of every corner of the state have started reaping its benefits. There will be real development in Chandipur assembly area in coming days”, he added.
The chief minister later inaugurated a “Sushashan Fair” at the Chantail High School ground of Chandipur assembly constituency.Speaking on the occasion, Dr Saha said, “I feel happy to hand over the benefits of various projects to various beneficiaries on this occasion”.“Our state government is committed to deliver the basic rights of the people to the doorsteps of the people”, he added.Highlighting the various aspects of the “Prati Ghare Sushashan” campaign launched by the state BJP-led government, the chief minister said that the campaign is a huge success and a large number of people have been benefitted through this.
