CM inaugurates SHG Credit Linkage & Financial Inclusion Programme

Agartala, November 28: UCO Bank, Zonal Office, Agartala, organized SHG Credit Linkage & Financial Inclusion Programme at Sukanta Academy Auditorium on Tuesday, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha who presided over as the chief guest.

During the programme Brahmneet Kaur, IAS & CEO, TRLM, Vijaykumar N Kamble, Executive Director, UCO Bank; Ranjeet Singh, General Manager, Financial Inclusion, UCO Bank; Raju Das, Zonal Manager, Agartala Zone;. Ashish Sharma, Deputy Zonal Head, Agartala Zone; Saurabh Trivedi, Chief Manager and other dignitaries were also present during the programme.

The programme was attended by around two hundred seventy SHGs members and other beneficiaries of different schemes.

Chief Minister has addressed the SHG members & other government sponsored beneficiaries and narrated how government Flagship Scheme “Mudra Yojana & SHG Credit Linkage” has changed the life of people under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Dr Saha has expressed his delight on how the Swalamban Scheme is catering the livelihood of people of Tripura State. Chief Minister also congratulated and appreciated UCO Bank for improving the livelihood of rural people by offering SHG Accounts & providing Credit linkage to them. This scheme also helps in developing Entrepreneurship skills. Chief Minister has encouraged UCO Bank branches in Tripura, for creating more entrepreneurs in Tripura.

Chief Minister has also expressed the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” and also emphasized on “Vocal for Local”.

During the programme CM has handed over the cheque of Rupees Two Crores to Chief Executive Officer, TRLM on behalf of 130 SHG groups in the state of Tripura. He has also distributed cheque to 4 SHGs during the event.

Vijaykumar N Kamble, Executive director, UCO Bank, has emphasized that individual member from SHGs to come forward for entrepreneurship and UCO Bank will give financial assistance to such individuals. He has also appreciated the SHGs members for their entrepreneurship skills.

Ranjeet Singh, GM, Financial Inclusion, UCO Bank has address the members that UCO Bank will help Tripura people to bring under gambit of financial inclusion by ways of organized more camps for financials awareness amongst people.

Zonal Manager, Raju Das on behalf of UCO Bank has also assured the members that all kind of banking services would be given to the people of Tripura.
