Agartala, 25th December 2023: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha said that the message of Lord Jesus remains relevant in guiding people toward the light and pulling them out of darkness.
Speaking during the Christmas cake-cutting ceremony at Shantir Rani Catholic Church Compound in Mariamnagar, Agartala on Monday, Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of unity for achieving the goals of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura”.
“Across the world, people are celebrating Christmas. Even today, Lord Jesus’ message of peace is relevant. The message of Lord Jesus is very much relevant in keeping people in the light and helping them come out of the dark. Without peace, nothing is possible, and development is also not possible. Today, PM Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas’ is not just a theme but a move to unite, and we are also working in this same direction to stay together and work for overall development,” said Dr. Saha.
He acknowledged the existence of conspirators who seek to keep people in darkness to create division. “If we stay and live together, then ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura’ are possible,” Dr. Saha added.
